Mary's House for Older Adults, a local home providing affordable housing for LGBTQ seniors, has a new executive director. A. Charlene Leach, a seasoned nonprofit leader, has taken on the role.

Leach succeeds Dr. Imani Woody, the founding president and CEO, who recently retired from her leadership position. Dr.

Woody played a key role in securing funding for the construction and operation of Mary's House. The organization is based in the Fort DuPont neighborhood. Further details about the leadership transition and Mary's House are available from the organization.

The community can look to Mary's House for information on its mission and services, now under the direction of A. Charlene Leach.
