LGBTQ+-specific overnight camps have been established to provide queer youth with a summer camp experience in an affirming environment. Around a dozen of these camps are currently operating, catering to kids between the ages of 8 and 18. These camps offer a safe space for young people to be themselves, which is particularly important in today's political climate.
